Is it me or has the hysteria surrounding hurricanes been starting to be ridiculous these past couple of years?

I don’t remember people (on the inland) getting so worked up about a damn 1/2 ever.

If this turns quicker than expected, you're possibly looking at a cat 4 hit south of Tampa, and there are more models showing it cross FL, then off in the Atlantic for another land fall somewhere between Charleston and Wilmington...so I'll keep a slight eye on that possible outcome...

I live in Miami originally from NYC.

We’re not in the path currently. It’s always good to be prepared though ahead of time.

Worse case with how my kids eats. We’d be good somewhere between 12-14…. hours

If ya in Florida you know the deal, this got the yawn factor for me since I’m in Ft. Loudy but prayers n safety for everyone potentially in the path.

Bruh, these storms are bigger and more powerful than the ones in the 80s/90s/2000s. Dont just measure the Cat, theres storm surges, etc.

Irma knocked out power for alot of Broward and caused damaged: Hurricane Irma - Wikipedia. You mustve forgot and that storm "missed" us.
