nikkas in Charlotte still shook about Hugo and that was over 20+ years ago. This city can barely take 20 minute downpours without streets and highways flooding...ran into a dude at Cosco who bought a whole pallet of 1 gallon waters. I'm already stocked up...went ahead and got some diesel for the generator just in case we have any power outages.

Yeah.

I was a kid when Hugo hit and I'll never forget that shyt and we all had the same nonchalance until then winds started knocking trees over like dominos and blocked up drainage turned streets into rivers. Charlotte has one of THEE worst sewerage systems... It doesn't take a lot to overwhelm it and this has been an issue since HUGO.

You'll see... If we get rain like I think we will..85 and 77 will be impassable, like most of the city.

Yeah Florence is supposed to stall out once it gets over NC/VA, not out of the question that someone gets 2 to 3 feet of rain.
