The difference is (arguably) that most women are raised with the expectation that they will be kept. They're being raised with the expectation that they're princesses to be sought after.
They aren't growing up being told they have to carry the burden of working to get those things (particularly in terms of relationships/men).
That's not to say that women aren't capable.
But men are pounded with notions of "you gotta do this, that, and the other to get a woman/family/etc". This is what is expected of you. These are your responsibilities.
Anything that becomes expected or demanded of women gets twisted into some sort of oppressive gender role/women subjugation shyt.
