IDK but Papa Wu eluded to this a while ago. Supposedly Ghost was a real goon out there robbing and shooting nggz. RZA brought the whole hood together with the W.

Yea I know Ghost was a wild and crazy nikka out in the hood and no one could contain him and I know him and Rae were super close at one point but I don’t think would be possible for them to even rap together let alone be good friends after the depictions in these first two episodes.

Again, i understand taking creative license, I just think they went a lil TOO over the top with the Rae/Ghost beef to the point where its going to feel fake when they reconcile

Did they though?

"You got to understand...before they got together, Raekwon & Power and them would go and shoot up Ghost's house."

This shyt is really good BUT

Raekwon being responsible for both shooting up Ghost’s house AND burning down the trap spot is TOO unforgivable for these nikkas to eventually form a rap crew. Especially knowing how crazy Ghost was in REAL life back then

Thats the only shyt i can’t fukk with.

Other than that the acting is great. Soundtrack is superb. And they are doing a great job of capturing that grimy NY 90’s feel. I’m fukking with it

But it's facts. Those that know, know.

Again, don't assume things are amped up for TV unless you know the original, and much of that shyt Wu kept intentionally internal, so you couldn't know the details before now when they decided to reveal it. Not saying everything even can be 100% as it was, but some of the stuff you find the most unbelievable might have actually happened & the blurs are in the mundane stuff or things to cover identities.

Remember when everyone thought the Wire was going too far when Omar jumped from that height in SSN 5 and survived? Simon said the real Omar jumped from higher up & made it, they toned it down for the series and viewers were still claiming ducktales when everyone involved knew that the real was even beyond that. Keep that in mind while watching this series.

I thoroughly enjoyed all the episodes. I just wish they did a better job introducing them. I figured out who they stall were by episode 2 though. Rae abs ODB are perfect to me lol. RZA is my favorite character though cause he reminds me of myself. Always got to have dreams man.

Shameik Moore (Raekwon) on The Breakfast Club:

The kid feeling himself but I can't front, he got Rae mannerisms down to a tee. Even the way he talks with the gold teeth is just like Rae back in the days before he got his teeth fixed. Young brotha did a nice job.
