What's up, are these kids superpowered?

Some are. Some aren't.

There is a mutant, a time traveller, a wizard, a science/tech, and an alien, and a master strategist/thief/tactitian.
The story is very good so I won't spoil it. The reason they are all together is much more complicated than your traditional comic stories.

Alex Wilder is a straight G. One of my favorite marvel characters. Top 10, easy.

He reminds me of Huey from the boondocks... but with more of a focus on fighting evil instead of fighting white supremecay. He is one of the soundest tacticians I've ever seen. Right up there with Cyclops... but still below Batman and Dr Doom, mostly cause of his age and inexperience.

Its my 3rd favorite Marvel series.
Hope they don't butcher it.

How big is the budget for a hulu show? Cause they have a raptor (yeah a dinosaur) as a member of their team... so out the box this might look like one of those bad sci-fi movies if they got no budget.


Only hulu original programing I ever watched was a show called isolation and that was filmed in one location with zero special effects, or cast, or anything really.

AS much as I enjoyed Runaways I still think the BIG TWIST that Whedon chose was short-sighted move that stymied the book creatively as it moved forward and lessened my love of the series as a whole.
