We all know Hogan will be back. No way someone as big as he was in the industry be gone for good unless he murdered someone or raped someone or molested a child. I dislike him but as long as his only activity is something like a table for 3 on the network, signing autographs during Summerslam, Royal Rumble, and Wrestlemania weekend , etc then I would be ok.

If flair would not have just booked himself to go over. He would have propelled a bf to take the mantle of the top draw industry wise from Hogan. When in effect. The NWA had two potential hogans. One in magnum and the other in lex. Plus, Nikita could have been Goldberg before goldberg. Way before sting ever was in the nwa.
So, real talk... Flair need to sit down with that Hogan bullshyt. Simply because if he booked better. He could have been the catalyst to a draw bigger than Hogan. Plus authenticated himself to go over Hogan. Instead of being forced to re-inforce the industry lie.
about Hogan via kayfabe and booking as the best main event draw always justified to go over. As Hogan had to be protected as a draw, if both flair and Hogan met. As Hogan was such a pisspoor worker to Ric. That ric always had to call a trash comedy match for Hogan. If ric, would have booked the NWA to make sense. He would have had other principals in the NWA who were potentially higher draws. Thus giving flair more distance booked against Hogan coming in from another promotion. Instead of ric hogging the book and not seeing the bigger picture. Ric ruined any convincability for Hogan to still draw if he lost to flair. As Hogan always had to beat flair cause Hogan and his much larger draw would be exposed and ruin the draw for their encounters monetarily if he lost to ric.
Ric ruined his ability to be more than just the ric flair we make broke jokes about.
Plus, he would be still the actual inring goat. As there would have been more encounters and title matches with guys like lex, magnum, and Nikita. Not to mention the fact you could have done a horsemen dissention angle that lead to more than one real arm Anderson is world champion material match and angle. Plus, tully could have been utilized even way way more as well.
Flair actually hurt himself not being more vulnerable when he had the book.
That to this day, he really never got his real just desserts.
