Nah....no one has reached the fame level in pro wrestling that the Rock has. Goes on other shows and increases ratings..Hogan, Sting, Macho Man, Austin..no one ever did that. Guy came back from 7 years and did records....guy upped 3 hour boring Raw shows to close to 6 million an hour in viewership. He effects other media and everything he touches....everyone knows Jordan/Ali/the Rock. There's not enough Manny smilies in existence that can change that reality in 2013.
And what money did all of those ovations draw in the end? LOL. Nowhere near what the Rock did in 2002, which is why he was put in the main spot at Summerslam 02 and the plan was to use Austin and Hogan as buffers for Lesnar of all people. Keep forgetting that part...why didn't those Angle and HHH matches do big business nor are talked about till this day? During Hogan's return, you only know of 3 matches by heart..the Rock match, the Hollywood Rock match, and the match with Vince. People just laugh at the Michaels fiasco and the Blandy thing the year after was only talked about because DX was jealous they got outpopped by him.
Interesting..the most "famous pro wrestler of all time" can't get a 1.0 during WM week, eh? Odd. And keep in mind that whenever Hulk Hogan mentions in interviews, it's mostly to do about the Rock's return and his effect on the industry

He doesn't talk about TNA for shyt but Rock not "putting over" Cena? He was easy to find on that subject. That's the Rock's fame level for you. I think the Rock has only talked about Roode, Sting, and definitely talked to Mickie when he came back on the TNA flip.
