My question with Hogan's logic is why did Hogan have to win the title beating Yoko first. If anything why didn't they play it kind of how they broke in Earthquake. Let Bret run with the title and put him in a feud with a built up Razor or Narcissist and have Yoko destroy Hogan on the way to a title shot. Then still put Bret over Yoko.

but yeah, Bret wasnt a big enough star at that time, bottom line. I am a huge bret stan, he was my fav wrestler as a kid BEFORE he went into a singles push, I think the foundation were still heels when I started to like him. But I mean, in that era, where a guy like hogan lost once every 4 years, it was smarter to have Yoko beat him than Bret IMO.
