The update fixed everything for me. I had forgotten how bad/intrusive some ads were.

don't think they're pushing this update out to the old ass version of FF...
..and the workarounds don't work either.
I downgraded to 56xx cause quantum was ass and some of my most used extensions weren't/aren't going to carry over.
