I haven't had an htc in years, and on the fence between this and the s7 edge. Camera doeant look too bad at all. Like the form factor and knowing it doesn't have the samsung bloatware is a plus.

People always with this "classic droid lag" blah blah blah

Meanwhile I'm hear with a Nexus 5 2013 edition that completes all my demands just fine.

I'm assuming the people complaining don't close apps they're not using while trying to run some demanding video games and have a ton of apps on their device... I use my phone to make calls, send texts, occasional pictures, view the web and watch videos. All done speedily.

I'm still happily running the same phone but with quite a few apps as well and its all good still. I'll probably upgrade to the next Nexus though. Hopefully it'll be made by HTC.

It was awesome the first six months. Everything was smooth and the battery life was great. Then it updated to Android 5.0 (or something like that) and the performance noticeably dipped. It progressively got slower and slower; taking longer to load things or switch between apps. 2-3 months ago it finally got the Marshmallow update. At first, the phone was really smooth again, but then I started having even more problems. A bunch of apps didn't work with the update and it started lagging like crazy again. My battery life fell off a cliff and now just a couple days ago, my screen went to shyt. Not cracked, but half of it died.

I've had the phone for 18 months. Bought a Nexus 6p that will be here tomorrow. :manny:

Yeah, that update fukked my phone up something serious. Everything was perfect just til that update, now my shyt restarts randomly, the phone locks up, the wifi would go in and out, and my battery life tanked. It got so bad I swore my next phone would be an iPhone but Apple, fukked that up with this no headphone jack nonsense.

For that price I don't understand why anyone would purchase this phone when you could get the iPhone SE for around the same price or cheaper. Doesn't make any sense to me.
