shyt is sad. in my HS the lunch director used to always give stuff out for free, especially to kids who couldn't afford it. When i graduated They fried him for using up too much money. Students got sickkk and marched for that man to come back and they hired him back. Shout out Mr Walle

dont know the laws in certain states, but if it's not subsidized and the parents legit can't afford it, why isn't there some program where the parents/kids can help out around the school or it's outside functions to knock the debt out. Straight public shaming is ridiculous especially when some of those kids parents straight out do not give a fukk. Have some kids work taking tickets at sports events or something basic like that, or grade incentives where you don't have debts at certain gpa's etc
