It's very dangerous to little black girls, because if you start calling this woman below black, and they start thinking that is the standard of black beauty (like Halle), then you have actual black women seeing their features as unacceptable. They start bleaching their skin, getting perms to try to match what they think the world sees as the standard beauty for a black woman. That is wrong, because this person is not black, she is mixed with white. She is biracial and thus her features are not that of a black person. She just shares SOME features. How does it look to tell your dark skin daughter that THIS is a beautiful black woman?

Its not even just that you tell her that, its that that is the only representation of Black feminine beauty that most Black girls get these days. Actually Black girls barely get to see Black women period in popular forms of entertainment, we are just now seeing a resurgence (which ironically is being protested by many in our own community )

You cannot compare what Black girls have to deal with to what all girls have to deal with when it comes to standards of beauty because white and non-Black women get representations that actually put on display their common features.

Tbh I'm 1/4 white, but I want my kids to not be as black as I am. I want them to be mixed with white (German/Italian/French) or Hispanic like columbian or Brazilian or something. But I don't want to have kids with a black woman.
