the dude played dress up and rapped with the same candence as the last rapper, used the same rhymes for the most part. and we acting like he's next up. pathetic. dude is O K at best. OK with a suit on and yall are falling for him like women. despicable
That was pretty dope!! Hot beat. Dope lyrics. Wasn't "corny" at all. He even SOUNDS like a normal type rapper and not like a nerd like Lamar. Like i said in my 1st post, we've been conditioned to view ourselves a certain way and anyone who doesn't fit that particular image is deemed less than. Hiphop has taught us for 30 years that a rapper looks, talks and acts a certain way. More recently, overall ignorance has been stressed more and more as a stereotype of the rapper. Anyone who doesn't look, talk and act the part will have a hard time being accepted by other blacks. This conditioning goes way back to slavery when slaves had to hide/suppress their intelligence to survive. The same thing is still happening today
