not garbage. it had its moments. The night HHH returned and cost Austin the title on Raw had the crowd buzzing. the 3 stages of Hell match was great

It's weird because Rock vs HHH was personal and even extended to real life, but still, Rock vs Austin was two larger than life personalities colliding to see who was the better man.
That "My Way" promo package pretty much explains how deep the shyt went. Austin was gone, but Rock just spearheaded past him at that point and Austin knew Rock was his biggest challenge.
HHH vs Austin is pretty ridiculous even for the era it was in. shyt was like Russo came back just to book it or something, nikka fell like 50 feet and came back with one bandage.

Cripple H was a abomination. He didnt belong with Austin in 99. Lol. It was so silly. Then the Rock was put in a tag team with Foley and he would cut career ending promos on Cripple H like at Fully Loaded 99.
Difference is Rock actually warranted his push and Cripple H was company pushed.#1 Rock/HHH

Rock and HHH are each other's best opponents IMO and their come ups are damn near identical and incredible.
Both start out with shytty gimmicks (Rocky Maivia and Helmsley) and feud for the IC Title.
Eventually they join factions and change up their gimmicks...night after WM 14, Rock takes over The Nation and HHH takes over DX...have a classic feud for the IC Title in the Summer. The SummerSlam ladder match turn them both into big stars and they both win World Titles a year later and feud over that as main eventers.
