-No loose ends.

How was she a loose end other than wanting him to return to cooking :ld:

-Hit on Skylar.

He risked his whole revenge operation by showing his face back at the house (by the neighbor) to go grab the ricin... Skylar doesnt even inform him of the Arians threatening her to protect Lydia till after he's already got the ricin :ld:

-Obviously he knew she'd put a hit on him.

Who cares... Isnt his motivation to avenge Hank's death, she had nothing to do with that

-Cause he can. :birdman:

One week the guy can't make it 5 miles into town and is getting chemo in a log cabin. He's so lonely that he has to pay 10,000 dollars for a guy to play cards with him

The next week he's finding the keys to abandoned cars and driving across the country to buy the worlds strongest gun...and he meets all of his old friends along the way...

Thats not a contradiction? I didn't even mean contradiction in a bad way,I just meant very obvious differences in the themes. But no middle ground with you fanatics....

cool show tho. Really. I've been watching since Episode 1...

That's not a contradiction. He was laying low in the cabin because he was out of options. Then when he seen his old friends on tv he had an idea of how to get the money to his family. He also knew that once leaving the cabin there was no turning back. As far as buying the gun and all that, he knew he had nowhere to go and that he was either going to die or get arrested so he planned one last job to kill the nazis, which goes back to the earlier seasons where he was extremely protective of the blue product. That was his formula and someone else was using it. None of that is a contradiction

My only problem with the ending was how flawless Walt's plans in his return to Albuquerque went. :comeon:

But their (his and Jesse's) luck has been my single gripe since the show began so, :yeshrug:

Can someone help me out with this question: What was Walt's motivation for killing Lydia?

-No loose ends.
-Hit on Skylar.
-Obviously he knwe she put a hit on him.
-Cause he can. :birdman:

I don't think it has anything to do with loose ends...he's dying and everybody already knows he's Heisenberg, how is Lydia a loose end? Saul is more of a loose end than she is.

Has nothing to do with them scaring Skyler...he grabbed the ricin before talking to Skyler.

Has nothing to do with Lydia putting the hit on him....she was poisoned before she put the hit out.

I think he killed her for one reason: he was mad she was continuing to sell blue meth...HIS recipe. Walt was a fukking sociopath by that point.

1. She knew too much and he decided NO ONE should survive.
2. My mistake.
3. Walt is smart. I'm sure he knew once he appeared she'd take action.

Again, these are JUST speculations, so who gives a fukk? :heh:

Can someone help me out with this question: What was Walt's motivation for killing Lydia?

Walt wanted to tie up every loose end. He knew he would be dead in a few days/weeks. Would you leave your family vulnerable to a soulless b*tch like Lydia? :usure:

Lydia in her own way was Gus-like. She was meticulous and cold-hearted. She already made it known she didn't like that Skyler saw her face. That fear was never gonna go away. Even if she had to get someone else to do it besides Todd's peoples, Lydia was going to eventually kill Skyler to be completely sure no one could tie her to Heisenberg. Walt had already thought ahead to that conclusion, which is why Lydia got that special sugar :birdman:

I would of ended it by showing a TV news report that Heisenbergs body has been found and what not and while showing it the camera pans out to see its showing in the break room of a cinnabun and you eventually see Saul and he says "I'll be damned".

It should've ended with Walt OD'ing on that last batch of Blue meth...

:troll:

I think you are joking but I like your idea. I think it would have been cool to see Walt try his product right before he died to see what all the fuss was about. He could have died high as a kite on meth.

I think its both of these, plus Walt never seemed to like Lydia from the start. Like Mike said, she deserved to die as much as anyone and when they first had her hostage, Walt voted to kill her immediately w/o even thinking :pachaha: Then he was gonna already poison her at the beginning of season 5 before she offered the Euro connect. She was gettin got regardless :birdman:
