How would you feel, if you knew the world was going to end, in your lifetime?

Please discuss and also tell us if you have children or not. I imagine that parents would feel horrible knowing their children won't live to old age. My only responsibility is me, so, I would feel lucky. I can't imagine how good the show would be 10-5 years before it all ends.

It's a funny thing. We are all going to die one day. We know it.

Knowing the date would probably just give me more peace of mind.

I dunno what I would do but if I knew exactly when it was coming, I'd get ready for it. And I have no children so I probably would decide to never have any.

That's be interesting. I'd be in my 60s so I wouldn't care about not missing out on any experiences but I'd probably not bring a child into the world, or get married, or work a tedious 9-5. Would be pretty nomadic and spontaneous life ahead.

What's crazy is JW teaches that the end is near for the way the world is currently setup, with all the rules the religion has I'm shocked they haven't made a rule to tell people to stop having kids if the odds is high that the great tribulation will take place in the near future.

Wife and I were having this discussion recently. We both felt that it would be a relief to know when (assuming we're both alive by that time too.).

Gives us a chance to say goodbye, something alot of people don't have the chance to do these days.
