How would you book an Xavier Woods main event push?

Book him as the motherfukker who won't quit. He's had some super piff matches where it looked like he was getting rag dolled and he came back and almost won. US title against Cena is one I remember vividly. Dude can go, and he shows some serious strength from time to time. Just let him have fun. The video game guy who's smarter and funnier then you, can take a beating, hulk up and come back...

the key to any main event is the promos. Any idea that doesnt first involve him turning heel is nonsense. I'd have him turn on Kofi and have him cutting promos talkin shyt every week. Give him an IC or US title run to see how he handles it. Anyone who can talk can be pushed into the main event.

I'mma change my mind to a degree. I would still turn him heel, but he wouldn't need to win a secondary title (yet) or turn on Kofi (he probably wouldn't agree to it anyways). Since we're at where we're at...I'd have him LOSE the King of the Ring to Finn Balor. Have him get salty at the circumstances and still claim to be the rightful king (like real kings do anyways). That would set up a program with Finn right away which could help elevate him and would make his ring work look better. He then challenges Finn at a PPV with the CROWN on the line. And wins with dubious tactics...solidifying the heel turn. Then he can be the over the top, obnoxious king that he was always going to be. Just with some Joffrey-like tendencies. With his love for video games and cosplay, his ability on the mic, he creative ways of incorporating props...he could easily get something going.

How is Finn buried? Finn lost absolutely nothing while giving a rub to a star trying to elevate. Finn could be in a title fuel next week with the work his character has put in over the years and still be credible and a threat.
