Post Darby ppv match on next dynamite:
WEEK 1: cm punk got that dub, but gives darby props. MJF come out talking about how he may have beat a top dog like darby but that aint him. he just came off retiring legends like chris jericho, and he will retire punk too. talks some shyt about how aew is supposed to be about fresh talent, not has-beens that are only pretending like they got it anymore. throws some jabs at his ufc career, and his acting career, saying he been a pretender in many aspects of his life for a long time, including wrestling. challenge is made for ppv
WEEK 2: darby pretape promo with sting talking about MJF better slow his role tonight when speaking of him. says he's been in the ring with mjf before, and cm punk was a different animal and he better come prepared. mjf vs. jobber later in show. gets on mic talking shyt about darby and punk. punk comes out and says bring two of your boys next week for a tag match, because he's got his. darby and sting shown in rafters.
WEEK 3: cm punk, darby, sting vs. mjf, revival (with tully) in main event action. tully keeps fukkin with sting the whole match but faces still take control. spears and wardlow come out for a DQ finish and pinnacle give faces beatdown to end show
WEEK 4: darby and sting enter into rivalry with revival. they are done in regards to punk/mjf now. contract signing between punk and mjf. punk talks about how mjf needs 4 friends with him everyone he goes. and they say he lives his character, well its true because hes a chickenshyt inside and out of the ring. mjf says he has the pinnacle because they make money together in AEW, and they don't have to leave wrestling for freak show attractions in UFC to get the bag. he also says punk can't talk because he has a hard time keeping friends. and then he says he doesnt need pinnacle at the ppv because he's made a new friend that is going to be ringside in his match, that knows alot of about friendship and alot about punk being an a$$hole too. colt cabana attacks punk in street clothes (not in his dark order geek singlet) he looks intense and like he has a grudge to settle.
PPV: mjf goes over with colt cabana interference.
feud continues another month with alot of colt and punk interaction (he cuts a promo on dark order at some point abandoning the group, for more heat and to get the jobber stench off him somewhat). at some point punk beats colt in a single match, and the rematch with MJF has some sort of stip to it. punk goes over.
