Have them acknowledge the Paige and Del Rio relationship on air. Upset that ADR is on Smackdown, Paige interferes in a bunch of matches to try and get released, but Steph and Mick refuse to do so. Steph tries to scheme a devious plot, but Mick suggests he'll call a friend to make Paige forget ADR. Next Raw as Paige is about to interfere in another match, the lights turn off. Once back on Val Venis is in the middle of the ring doing his Val Venis dance. Paige smiles at the whole deal and leaves. Over on Smackdown, ADR is furious and wants a piece of Val Venis and challenges Val to a match at SummerSlam. Val accepts the challenge, but decides it's not going to be a match. It's going to be a who's got the best stroke with Paige deciding the winner ().

SummerSlam, the Val vs. Del Rio "match" is just a closed door with Paige moaning and then saying "You're the winner!". Out the door emerges... Val Venis!

Fresh off his SummerSlam championship victory, Seth Rollins celebrates and since Val solved the Paige interfering in random matches problem, Steph rewards Val a title shot on Raw. As Seth is dominating the match and about to hit the pedigree, the TitanTron shows pictures of Seth before he got to the 'E (). Surprised and embarrassed, Seth is suddenly rolled up for a pin and Val Venis is the new WWE Universal World Champion!
