i dont think i was even talking to you here friend but thanks anyway

its not my fault that is what the OP is asking
:salute: no problem friend, anything I can do to help just in case you forgot that America has no reason to bring 'democracy' to two democratic governments, both of which happen to be its allies including military backing

What's going on for you to make this thread?

my girls lil brother who is my age is going to okinawa just wanted to ask cuz i know the most open threat is the north koreans and to a lesser extent china but i was reading about how both south korea and japan have very conservative-hawkish governments at the moment and a history of enmity as long as japans problems with the other two even tho they are both technically free market economies its interesting... technically democacies dont squabble like that, i know they cooperate on some stuff but so does russia with nato and they stay taking lil pot shots at each other

none of the 3 have the exact same type of governments
But that doesn't matter, exact identical governance styles are unnecessary, japan, korea and the US are all different in their own way- the fact is they are all governed by democratic PRINCIPLES and VALUES, and have similar checks and balances of power regarding legislation, execution, and judisprudence. The only major departure is the involvement of the Emperor in Japan's system, and even then, we pretty much laid the terms for how they were supposed to handle that at the end of WW2 :heh:

i dont have a problem with your need to show what is and isnt right about what you know friend because you do have your points

i dont care for your running up in a thread to answer a question not directed at you not even addressing the OP derailing things for demonic satisfactions

and if you want to be technical there is always room to have more power but its cool like the other side of the pillow friend we can work this out :lift:

USA has such a huge influence on both of them military wise I don't see it happening. They actually have 'japan-town' like areas in Seoul. It would take a lot to make something happen between the two. Especially when NK and China are still something to be reckon with. Don't want to make enemies when you got enemies next door.
