It’s need to be something you can build upon. If they find enough tax increases to pay for the child care credit and expanded Medicare then you do it and build from there

trying to tax unrealized gains isn’t practical

progressive talk on the internet is not formatted for how the real world operates. Compromises will happen and things on the wish list will get neutered and dropped
