I see progressives are back to hoping Biden fails

I think Biden is going to double down on his Aug 31st withdraw date. The fact of the matter is this attack was meant as a parting shot and a hope to keep the US over there. The Taliban own the country and the enemies of the Taliban inside of the country are at war with the Taliban. The best bet is to leave and let them fight it out. 20 years of war over there with nothing to show for it. End this now and leave before more Americans are killed over there. How do you defeat people who are willing to walk into a crowd of people blow themselves and a crowd up? 1. Time 2. Let someone else fight them. 20 years of this. 20 years. We will see what Biden is going to say but he better not get us pulled back into that country.
Kind of hard to call their grievances legitimate when they're complaining about one of the main things they've been asking for from jump being that the US end its military adventurism and indefinite occupation in Afghanistan.
The irony isn't lost on me that progressives are framing the successes and failures of the Biden administration around how Republicans and conservatives view things in this country though. Or the hypocrisy in you defending it here.
I don’t even know what grievance is. Every progressive person I know is focused on evacuating people from Afghanistan, student debt cancellation and making sure the conservative Dems don’t kill Biden’s large spending bill and hopefully deleting the filibuster. No one is rooting for him to fail and he’s been surprisingly good on certain things. Biden leaving Afghanistan is a progressive position. That’s why I don’t know who @Pressure is talking about. And I wouldn’t say anything except that I don’t want the board to become a place where people can randomly punch left unopposed. But shyt like that is also why I’m going to take a break for HL and just post about sports and comics and shyt once college football starts. It’s old. You can state an opinion without just yelling out the word progressives to try to demean an entire group of people who you clearly don’t care for. You literally had all the most progressive posters on this board back Biden and he’s been backed in progressives papers so how does he come to this conclusion unless he’s acting in bad faith? I’m tired like ol boy said. Should’ve never come back when I left in 2016.

I said he will rebound once his agenda is passed but his presidency will end there legislatively. The Dems are losing the House. Everyone knows this inside and outside the Beltway including the DCCC.

I wasn't referring to @Pressure 's statement I was referring to the outrage about this bombing and the attacks on Biden over Afghanistan. The bombing and loss of life are regrettable but should be expected. The result of us leaving on the local population were always crystal clear and now people are outraged on both sides(both sides) of the isle.
