For sure. But I’m talking long term, the seat is gonna gonna go red eventually. He could sacrifice the seat so that the dems could have a fighting chance at winning others but he won’t.
I think we should be able to expand our seat count despite Manchin. Will he even seek another term? Is it really using that many resources to keep him seated? I doubt it

+child tax credits
+whatever infrastructure deal they put out
+billions of student debt relief for students grifted by for profit college (no word on universal relief)
+billions for black farmers

There's a lot that's been done, it just doesn't hit your checkboxes and that's fine. But objectively his approval/disapproval numbers are somewhere in between Bill Clinton and George Bush at similar points. :yeshrug:

Couldn’t have said it better myself

His approval ratings right now are too low for Dems to have much chance at keeping the house :yeshrug:

I already mentioned Covid relief

Student loan relief hasn't even hit 3%

The black farmer bailout is being fought by judges

You really can't sell those as wins when you campaigned on so much more.

His approval ratings are high.

Dems up for election need to prove why they deserve to keep their seats or gain seats.

Maybe run on the popular campaign that gave dems Georgia :pachaha:

:stopitslime: what's that? Give us a majority and watch us gut the promises we made while also making excuses why it still can't be passed?:francis:.
