@DEAD7 curious to know who do you agree with so far in these bipartisan talks on infrastructure?

I like Biden's idea of a minimim 15% tax floor on corporations to target companies like Amazon to help pay for this. But I also like Rethugs idea of moving some unused covid money over to help fund/pay for it. Im not sure why that is such a red line for Dems.

I’m not a big fan of Biden’s tax idea, i say put MMT to the test, print the money to fund it and let the fed slowly suck it back with interest rates.

Funding aside, i like that both sides are showing that repairing our roads and bridges is something that must get done.
I wish it wasn’t weighed down by the extra sh*t.
