Garland is currently defending Trump.

She's the VP. She has to do her job.Because Joe had decades of foreign relations experience and decades of legislative/admin experience.
Kamala has zero foreign relations experience and she sucks at public relations (such as the disaster interview) so that makes it worst.

I know that, which is also why Trump gets away with everything. He’s defending the office of the presidency
The Democratic Party is interested in catering moderate to mainstream republican voters.
I agreeNow, there's one thing you might have noticed I don't complain about: politicians. Everybody complains about politicians. Everybody says they suck. Well, where do people think these politicians come from? They don't fall out of the sky. They don't pass through a membrane from another reality. They come from American parents and American families, American homes, American schools, American churches, American businesses and American universities, and they are elected by American citizens. This is the best we can do folks. This is what we have to offer. It's what our system produces: Garbage in, garbage out. If you have selfish, ignorant citizens, you're going to get selfish, ignorant leaders. Term limits ain't going to do any good; you're just going to end up with a brand new bunch of selfish, ignorant Americans. So, maybe, maybe, maybe, it's not the politicians who suck. Maybe something else sucks around here... like, the public. Yeah, the public sucks. There's a nice campaign slogan for somebody: 'The Public Sucks. F*ck Hope.

The lawsuit isn't because he was POTUS it was because she sued him for raping her and is trying to get his DNA.Pretty Much
Jean should drop her lawsuit. He's gone, enough.
This is a good Twitter thread on why this is happening - from an optics perspective it looks bad but the DOJ isn't defending or exonerating Trump for his actions. You are naive breh. I don’t say that in an insulting way, and I apologize that it came across that way.

The lawsuit in question is actually defamation/libel, not the rape itself. The lawsuit isn't because he was POTUS it was because she sued him for raping her and is trying to get his DNA.
Every time they pursue this strategy they end up pissing off more people than they please.
Honestly, she could fall back and he’ll undoubtedly say something again.Pretty Much

the state Dem party here in Georgia ran off the same goofy strategy for years here of trying to court white voters in smaller metros/rural areas/Exurburban Atlanta till Abrams 2018 run basically made her the de facto head of the state party and she focused more on *gasp* turning out the core base and what do you know Biden won the state in 2020 (the swing state that was probably the most difficult one to actually swing) and they won two senate seats and even cut into the laughably gerrymandered state legislature's GQP majority, insane shyt right actually appealing to your core base to win right? And those voters that they try to appeal end up voting for the GOP. It's a losing strategy by the Dems.
