You're talking about MMT in response to a proposal to increase taxes to pay for infrastructure.

And now you're suggesting increasing taxes on the top earners and wealthy is going to negatively impact lower, working class, and middle class Americans who mostly pay a higher effective tax rate than many of their wealthy peers.

Biden Set to Raise Taxes on Rich to Fund Child Care and Education

This is a fantastic plan. I've been advocating for universal pre-K since I was in undergrad - investments in the people of the country is the surest way to effectuate real change.

Protest is good, actually.
Biden's proposals to world leaders won't save us a single day in regard to climate change - we've already reached the point of no return and milquetoast policy that should have been passed in the 1980s is more a show of good faith - he has to appease people with common sense and some semblance of an understanding of the crisis in the world around them.

Yeah, she's pretty horrible. The entire Louisiana "criminal justice system" is an absolute mess - New Orleans in particular - and there are no truly good DAs who would even be up for the challenge.

It's better her than any of her right-wing colleagues, but that isn't really saying much.
Jason Williams would be a better choice - but I know he just got sworn in as a local prosecutor.

the smaller investor will get hurt bad by this tax. they dont need to make over 1m to get hurt. more bags to hold and less gains to see

so many people got into investing the past year and a half or so and they are gonna see all this red and gtfo which is honestly part of why i see this being proposed. no one on either side wants the little guy to win in the stock market
