Who on FEDERAL death row is innocent? You know the gigantic amount of atrocity you have to commit to get hit with a federal capital punishment. This ain't no mistaken identity miscarriage of justice
:dahell:I’m arguing systematic failures of the death penalty based on decades of data and you respond by asking me to provide anecdotes of the current federal death row inmates? Like what?

I swear, the education system has failed you dudes.

bytch shut up
The state has taken lives of people were later exonerated. Plenty of Deathrow inmates have also been exonerated while awaiting execution
That's what you wrote goofy

Who on FEDERAL DEATH ROW, which is the topic of this thread, is beyond a reasonable doubt guilty of the horrendous crime they committed that have a remote chance of being exonerated since thats one of your arguments against the death penalty? Let me see how smart you are to wiggle out of that.

You do realize there is a different in FEDERAL and STATE death sentences this isn't some backwater judge, jury, and prosecution in Mississippi.

Since you are so gung-ho about the death penalty, What should happen to the state for taking lives of innocent people?
but biden didn't pass a law to abolish the death penalty. he didn't accomplish anything lasting on this front

he just commuted a few guys who raped and murdered children :scust:

This question is irrelevant to the core principles that underlie opposition to the death penalty. If you oppose it on principle, you oppose it for ALL people, regardless of the certainty of their guilt, or the severity of their crime. These principles apply universally, not selectively.

A blood thirsty white conservative. Who would have thunk it?
biden commuted a man's sentence who raped a woman, duct taped her face, tied her to cinder blocks, and threw her over a bridge. he also killed her 18 month old daughter, who was never found

again; what part of this am i expected to applaud? what blow was struck for justice here?

A president doesn't have the sole authority to abolish the death penalty. However, they can place a moratorium on its use as well as commute the sentences of prisoners on death row as a show of opposition to the barbaric practice. He did what he could within the confines of his office. That kind of action is crucial for building broader political will for legislative action.

The state should not be in the business of killing people legally. Full stop. Especially when you consider all the flaws in the death penalty documented over decades.

But like I said, you are a white conservative man. Support for extreme Law and order measures is par for the course.

What parts of the state should not be in the business of killing people is hard to understand?

I’m against the death penalty in all cases. Even in cases where I personally wish for the most painful death for the person.
