We'll see what happens, if the bill is passed within the coming days (or today?) or not. But there's definitely a lesson here in terms of announcing deals, quickly adding existing legislative ideas/bills to it, and immediately voting. Waiting for months to pass bills, allowing republicans and Fox News to decimate you 24/7, is not a good idea. This "87k IRS agents" shyt is laughable in the moment, with the bill seemingly poised to pass soon. But two months of that talking point bleeding throughout online discourse until it finally reaches the New York Times is idiotic. Time to stop doing that shyt.
