Yeah this is normal and will probably play out like you said… lmaoWhen judges are up for nomination in a state there is a Senate policy and rule that allows for the home state Senators to basically green or red light candidates before they even make it to the Judiciary committee. I read that Biden and McConnell made this deal and McConnell wouldn't block any future judge appointments as well. Can't wait for McConnell to do what he always does and then have Biden saying but we had a deal.
The issue is that this is being used to attack Biden which is bad on Biden’s part

he does have a stutter, and I defended him on that leading up to the election. But I gotta be honest...in 2022 he's noticeably declined since then, and there are 100% slurring and speech issues that are related to him being old as fukk, and they have nothing to do with his stutter. Stuttering is a very specific speech impediment. It doesn't sound like slurring. There's a difference.He has a stutter.
