Democrats serve the part of the population that ain't for all that. There are too many stitched together coalitions that ain't going for all that. Say what you will about republicans but their groups are mostly unified or somewhat on the same page. They can mix it up and get in the mud to do the foul shyt they do and it offends no one. A guy like Trump couldn't rise in the democratic party because too many people wouldn't support him. Even the republicans that didn't like Trump got behind him mostly.
