I had said in the Knicks thread, before Felton got signed, that there would probably be a controversy over the starting spot between Kidd and Lin and that it'd be a good thing if Kidd won. Lin still has a lot to learn and while there's something to be said for learning on the job, he's gonna be logging major minutes in Houston. He broke down last year because he got thrown in the fire and was playing major minutes that he'd never been used to at the NBA level. That happened in just 25 games. Granted he gets a full training camp and preseason, but I don't see him even sniffing a full 82 game season especially being thrown out there from game 1, in a tougher Western Conference and with every team game planning for you. He doesn't have an Amare to deflect the opponents full attention over there, much less a Melo. Part of that game plan last year was being physical as hell with him.

Word. He was the mayor of Chinatown, as well as other Asian-heavy neighborhoods in NY, like Flushing. Plus when he goes on the road, too. Toronto was almost like a home game for us, there were so many Asian Lin fans there.

14/7/2 with 3-4 turnovers a game. I ain't even worried about Lin playing with the Rockets, I wanna see how Lamb plays. Even though its summer league, the dude gots some serious game. The Rockets if they don't get Bynum, will win 34 games and finally be in the lotto and try to get in the top 5 will be there hope, even though the upcoming draft next year looks like garbage.
