How white women are racism's secret weapon

I've been thinking for some time, it's def not PC to say it but a part of feminisim (predominantly white) has been hijacked and is the new way of putting other races down. It's always been men from other races who were perceived as "a threath", so by lowering their status/power while seemingly "granting" rights to women is a win-win for white establishment. All you have to see is how such a fuss is made about that white girl being "followed" in NY (with white people edited out), the same kind of video was made in Brussels. But for some reason, no one is making videos about the white-collar white CEOs responsible for women earning less than men. Strangely, white establishment has been giving more and more space to feminism (again, mostly white) ever since Islam/Muslims has become an issue. So now White Europeans are not islamophobic, but "feminists" because of the veil and cases here and there of sexual harassment (but still won't adress wage differences or give the same media coverage to white on white rape). And Black women over here have been coopted by the movement, so there struggle now is a "feminist" one, not one for racial equality. They too are getting more and more coverage. When they only speak about racism, suddenly less people are interested.

Had not thought of that..
Yeah it hit me a couple of years back. A very big part of the anti-Islam conversation over here in Europe is based on how Muslim women are supposedly treated in Islam. Obviously, most of these analysis fail to differentitate middle and upper-class Muslim women, who are basically as "free" as non-Muslim women, and lower-class Muslim women, who are indeed often less "free" than their non-Muslim counterparts. Basically, it has much more to do with social realities than with religion itself. But riding the feminist wave has allowed for a "soft" Islamophobia to take place in the mainstream media. And, consequentely, feminism has been getting much more attention ever since Islam has become the main topic. Feminists have always been around though.

White females can't actually hurt black people though. They need white men to enforce anything. As such I question how white women are "racism's secret weapon". Racism has no edge when there is no steel.
