How well would a live-action "Mighty Max" movie do?

It was one of those toys that was hot in the moment. I haven’t heard about it since like the late 90s. I don’t know if a movie would grab the attention of anyone.

My old ass would be down, a Johnny Quest movie/tv show like @987654321 said might translate better. It would work better as a Netflix type show instead as a movie tho. Definitely gotta update his gear but it could work.
A Netflix series would actually be way better, especially after seeing the success of "Stranger Things".
Built-in nostalgia, sci-fi/fantasy/horror, teens and adults as the audience...and I still want Roman Reigns cast as Norman. It's money.

Mighty Max was dope. Everyone who saw the cartoon loved it...unfortunately not many saw the cartoon. It was a Sunday-morning jawn with Fantastic Max...had a brief stint on the USA block then disappeared forever.
I think it could do big numbers and be very well received. Like anything, it depends on the story, who's writing the script, who's directing, who's staring.
i loved how the ending
made it perfect for syndication...it resets itself as the finale so it can be endlessly syndicated
