its something i want to do. ive had other types of jobs and dealt with many experiences. Ive come to the conclusion that a job where i work independantly and dont have to interact with a lot of ppl is a perfect match for my personality. im an introvert and hate having to deal with coworkers and supervisors. Also, i dont want anymore physically demanding jobs. i just want an easy, stress-free delivery type gig that i can see myself doing even in old age. and plus, most CDL delivery jobs are good paying

Sounds like a good set up to me given your personality.

How will you be with a lack of progression though? Are you sure that long term you'll be cool with doing the same thing day in and day out?

You've got it all figured out breh, All you gotta do is make it happen.

Be confident and tell them what they want to hear.

yea im cool with it longterm. ive had my 1st couple of delivery jobs within the last couple months and from my experience it wasnt a everday routine type thing. everyday was something new. i guess it all depends on what type of job it is

I've been on UE twice. The first time I got it in conjunction with severance pay and I was 7 months pregnant, so I just chilled until after I had my daughter. I watch a lot of re-runs of Dallas and cooked a lot.

Second time was wack! I was working under the table so it wasn't the only income I was getting but it certainly wasn't a lot of money. I hated being broke like that and promised I wouldn't go back.

also this has motivated me to work for myself possibly one day. the reason im on unemployment now is because i got laid-off. never been laid-off before and ill be damned if it happens again. i figure one day i can own my own truck and contract that bytch out when i feel like it and work for myself or just work parttime no more worryin about being laid-off by someone else

i'm in my 5th month and it's lame but only because some people around me (hoes) are like "you need to get a job". i took this time to really hone my stand-up skills, and go back to college. plus my mom died just before i got laid off. this whole time has basically shown me what i'm really made of and i'm not disappointed in myself at all.

how long were you on it?? did you enjoy it while it lasted or were you constantly worried because you didnt have a real job?? did you find yourself getting lazier and lazier as time went by?? ive been on unemployment for 2 months now and i feel like im getting lazier by the day. Everytime i think about working a fulltime job i feel a little dreadful feeling come over me. Waking up when i want to without the use of an alarm clock and going to bed at whatever time i want is :blessed:. Ive been able to catch up on my backlog of Ps3 games also:lolbron:. im 29 now and has been working constantly since 17 so i feel i kinda deserve a little break from work. My bills are being paid so im not really worried about that. i dont have any money to splurge but i keep myself entertained. im just trying to enjoy this little moment of not working. i go jogging 3 times per week also cuz im sure its easy to sit around doing nothing and become a fatass all a sudden. i just hope this time off doesnt affect me by making me become too lazy

I been unemployment for about 10 months and it was ok, took a pay cut though. Went from 465 a week to 300 a week. It was ok until boredom sits in. Thank god for the gym, but i fukked up. Should have started college last year while the funds was still rolling in.

I'm at 7 months. :to:

I'ma go put in a job app tomorrow. I need it. Seriously, I WANT to go back to work.

If you have no hobbies, shyt can get depressing. But when I was on unemployment, it was football season and winter time( I never want to leave the house much in the cold) so I just chilled online, collected money. Watched TV and relaxed. Great vacation. Then they like, get a job blah blah blah. It does feel good to go to work though. Having a little self worth

My dad was the biggest hustler ever. He got laid off on unemployment. He does home improvement stuff so he was working everyday we were remodeling bathrooms, doing roofs, cutting grass, all that shyt while he was collecting a check for about 3 years about 5 years ago. Just fill out a couple apps a month and you're good.

Was on unemployment for two months and while it was "ok" to have a "break" for the first week or two, it got tiresome REALLY quick.

I'm actually probably going to be unemployed collecting unemployment at some point next month and i'm not looking forward to it :to:
