Uncertain grounds
It’s second shot that’s gonna get ya not the first

thats what ive typically been hearing but i know someone who just got the first and was very light headed and felt strange the next day so :yeshrug:. younger person, perhaps a weaker immune system? it really does depend on the individual

second pfizer dose today, arm is much more sore than the first shot. Definitely feels like sore muscles after a workout or like i was punched lol...i'll update tomorrow if i'm feeling bad

edit: day after, I still feel fine. Bout to hit the gym :lift:

edit 2: between my workout and the vaccine, felt a little fatigued/tired saturday evening, but nothing cray.

Had that Modern 2nd shot on Thursday around noon. Felt good Thursday. Woke up 4am Friday with a 101.5 fever and some gnarly body aches. That lasted about 22 hours and then I was good. :whoo:

Been a day since I got my first (Moderna) shot and I'm good...my shoulder is slightly sore but I feel no different than normal otherwise. :ehh:

the ether
Both my wife and I had very little reaction to the first dose. Were a little tired the next day, not sure if it was from the vaccine or something else. Arm soreness was minimal. 2nd dose will be in May.

Both of my parents and my mother-in-law have received both doses. Fatigued the day after and that was it.

I'm from where Petey come from
State of Maryland Mass Vaccine location in B-More only offered Pfizer. I took both shots in my left arm. Both times my arm hurt like hell. I was fine on the first shot. The second shot put me down for about a day. My mom who’s in her 60’s and my g-mom who’s in her 80’s got the same shot and all they had was arm soreness :martin:

I’m trying to understand why it’s young folks that are the ones with the reactions? Is it because we’ve had COVID in the past year and the shot just triggered a dormant residual? :ohhh::dwillhuh::jbhmm::patrice::lupe:

That soreness really crept up on me, I got my first shot yesterday morning and now I really feel the soreness whenever i raise my arm to the side. Thats a good sign that it's working tho :yeshrug:

I slept well the night before but I ended up taking a 30 min nap like 3 hours after I got the shot.

Young people have stronger immune systems so the vaccine triggers a stronger reaction

My arm was sore for both Pfizer shots.

I was somewhat tired after the second Pfizer shot. I also experienced headaches with the second Pfizer shot.
