It was dope.... During a time when everybody was putting out the same redundant autotune rap... He flipped the script and dropped this jewel. It's a feel good song, when I hear it it takes me back to that time....


Kinda bittersweet though because me and my ex loved that song. We'd get throwed and sing that shyt to each other off key :mjcry:

Brah, the autotune in that song was just a nod to the Vocoders of the old days.

Nobody had a problem with T-Pain's autotune back in the day, but half the people hated Wayne's autotune. And 90% of people hated everyone else fukking around with it because they did it even worse. But when done right, people never complained about it.

It wasn't the worst, but coming from Snoop it felt kind of gimmicky. Especially considering his Snoop Lion incarnation and all that. At the end of the day he's just an old man trying get bread so I salute him regardless.

Edit: I liked the song, but this is the man that gave us Gin n Juice. :mjcry:
