I will be returning to Babylon after 98 days from Colombia, specifically Afro-Colombia and I wanted to keep this trend going. And since we have so many people from Chicago here, I wanted to know what's the best itinerary to experience the best black Chicago for weekend or a week, if need be. I would be open to pretty much anything as long as it's safe (no health insurance:sadcam:) , fun and there's beautiful sisters to holler at:steviej:. Lettuce discuss. :lupe:
Beautiful, classy (assuming you looking for blk) women
1. Hit Hoxton Hotel/lobby on Friday or Saturday
2. Lazy bird on Friday or Saturday (basement of Hoxton hotel)
3. Tribe ( blk club)
4. Money gun (bar)
5. The bureau is ghetto/hood but free. Ladies aren’t that fine either unless you get there while it’s restaurant hours before it turns into a club
6. Soho house
7. Lotta black folks hang in west loop at night now… idk about in the winter but in the summer time fa sho.
8. Blind barber (speak easy) idk your age op but that spot is mostly 25-32 yr old

Restaurant
1. Virtue classy black owned
2. Monday Coffee (black owned cafe)
3. Mesler Kitchen (nice classy vibes) Hyde park
4. Dirty tiff’s soul food x Jamaican fusion
5. Cleo’s soul food
6. Demara’s ethiopian

Museum
1. Stoney island arts bank
2. Marianne Ibrahim Gallery
3. I think they have some black exhibitions at the Chicago arts institute now. When are you heading to Chicago ? I’ll keep adding to the list if you want.

Edit: if you visit in spring/summer there’s a lot of shyt poppin—35th street beach, 63rd street beach, promontory point, Reggie’s etc.

Give me some more detail about your trip and I’ll post some ideas and IGs

House Music was born in Chicago..

I love it, so I'd want to soak up as much good positive vibes amongst an obviously older Black demographic (non gay).

If you can find a mature but not elderly society of Black non hip hop heads you'll be safe and have a great time from my experience.

In a short summary..just locate where Black people who aren't into hiphop are at :mjlol:
