Even with all the distractions, and even being 17 pounds lighter, and being almost 40, dude is still a puzzle that hasnt been figured out.

Its not easy to dance around a fighter who has his head down and is swinging for the fences. You have to be smart, keep your hands up and protect your CHIN, so that you dont get hit with one of the hundred wild punches getting thrown at you wildly.

And thats what he did, which is why maidana wasnt able to hit floyd cleanly, and started doing low blows out of frustration. By 6th round maidana punched himself out wothout doing ANY damage to floyd minus the head butt. And floyd went to work..another day at the office.

If thats not pretty to you then it was pretty to me and those judges

  This fight showed y mayweather is a boring fighter claims he gave the fans what they want and fought....lol...cmon maidana crowded you into the corner....this fight showed y mayweather wants nothing to do with Pac. Cleaner crisper punches one or two a round cant win you the rounds every fight....Maidana landed a bunch of body shots and pushed the action mayweather held and held and held. Even asked maidana to fight with gloves that were fatter or thicker than the ones maidana usually uses. I thought Maidana won the fight.

BS decision!!!! No way Mayweather won or even close to what the 2 judges had it!! I watched the fight very closely and had Mayweather losing 7 rounds and fairly easily and 2 that could have gone either way. This kind of judging and performance by the supposed best boxer is why no one that I know watches the sport anymore.

Romeo McDaniel you forgot to mentioning the consistent holding by Mayweather. Smart boxing by consistently being against the ropes you say???

Sorry but theirs a difference between awareness of were your at in the ring and consistently using your boxing skills then to just hang by the ropes and wait for your opponent to come at you and you throw these little shot here and there and then hold.. The latter is what what Mayweather did. That's is cheap, not smart.

And don't ever compare Mayweather to Ali. May aint even in the same class

Yeah that's why Mayweathers face looked like it did and Maidana looked like he wasn't even in a fight tonight after the match... Crisper jabs in a couple rounds in the 2nd half of the fight and that's about it. I know see why everyone says UFC is better now and I was always on the boxing side but not anymore.

According to compubox mayweather did land more punches overall. But the fight is scored by round. I believe maidana outlanded mayweather in 8 or 9 rounds! Maidana was robbed. 116-112 117-111????? That was crazy!

Who landed more power punches???? Whos face was bruised? Maidana is light skin and he didnt even look like he was in a fight. Mayweather only outlanded maidana because of weak little jabs. Maidana landed more power punches and their faces tell the story.
