How strongly would you rate your sense of patriotism?

I support what this country stands for. With that i criticize the shyt out of it but i understand how this place works better then an outsider (reincarnation).
So I am about a 7.
I think we need to take the god part of the pledge though.

0 what's there to be patriotic about. It's like being a gangster and reppin your hood. Your just born there but it means nothing. If you were born in a different country you'd probably think it's the best. The system as a whole makes me sick. I don't rep my country cause there is no country just imaginary lines.

Honestly if you asked me this 2 years ago I woulda said 7, but now, probably 3.
I've gotten a lot more into politics recently and, sadly, it's opened my eyes to so much of the hypocrisy of the US. I don't trust politicians, the government lies to us daily, the media is controlled by crooked a$$holes, and fukking bankers run the world. The president is a puppet, congress is a joke, and the courts are retarded.
But I'd rather be living here than Iraq

10 years why not now? this country is such a joke yet you'll use the opportunities it has to offer in order to better accommodate your preparations in moving out. like Katt Williams said, if you don't like it here then get the fukk out. im no captain america over here but i cant stand when you got people making statements like these, most likely because of their own shortcomings and failures in life so they blame it on their country and how much of a "joke it is". plz do us all a favor and gtfoh asap.

Successful people expatriate all the time you moron, as shytty as the US is our money does go further in some of the places I plan to move. Thus, it makes the most sense to stack bread and then get the fukk out when I choose to. Meanwhile, while I'm relaxing & retired on the beach before 50, you'll be here in the US working until you're 75 to pay off the mortgage on a shytty two bedroom 1300 square foot home. Enjoy that American dream bruh....

You only like this country cause you've been brainwashed your whole life. I do believe in this country and what it stands for. I stand for the National Anthem at a sporting event. I'm not going to put a turban on, cross my arms and hum the Iranian national anthem. But, I don't have a US flag flying on my property. Yes, there are screwed up politicians and politics in the US government; but the people make up the country, not the politicians.

I am patriotic to my heritage and roots, and i am patriotic in the sense that my forefathers worked and died on this land; i should try to make the best of it and conquer this conundrum instead of hating it. Hate the instutions however and i do t support them. But i love my country
