to the threadstarter. my advice to you is to not respond.
a "non response" will have her thinking wild thoughts.....thoughts which will inevitably lead to her contacting u later down the line.
notice i said "inevitably", not maybe. if u respond, that tells her you got the message....hence the thought of u in her mind will be sealed tight, with the door to ur memory blocked by piles of other detritus of life that will descend on her.
if u dont respond, trust me, trust me, when she hit u up, it'll be easier for her to save face. she'll be like "hey, whats up malcolm. haven't heard from u in a while". she can say that because she believes since u didn't respond to her last text, theres a good chance u didn't get it.
