Thriller is top top 5 all time but honestly I think Smooth Criminal tops it. The choreography, the swag, the music, the setting and tone. All FLAWLESS

yea you could make the i guess i was just talkin about GOATness on impact and innovation alone. the thriller video is what blew the lid off this whole thing.

but yea smooth criminal was :whew:

remember the time was ambitious too but imo the song was better than the video.

My sister and I used to watch and dance to this all the time as kids. It took me a while to be able to watch it all the way through. The ending when he turned into the robot/ship/whatever it was scared the bejeezus out of me the first time I saw it.

I need to find a copy of my own.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
The Sega Genesis game was surprisingly fun back then, though:

Greatest Fatality Ever at about 2:00

and it was even better in the arcade

just think about that for a second... in the 90s.. an r&b singer... had an arcade game AND a console video game.... a fukking video game brehs... a damn singer.. and the game was dope :wow:

I haven't seen this in decades, but this has to be one of the greatest videos of all time.
I used to get mad when MTV stopped playing the long version of the video and only played the short version.
the part where MJ slows down and they all start yelling and chanting "Annie are you OK?" and then jump right back into the dance moves is the one of the greatest moments in music video history:banderas:

:ohhh: Is this what Kendrick is referencing in his current single "King Kunta"?

I knew the lyrics in the hook for "Smooth Criminal" seemed familiar when when I watched "Moonwalker" yesterday.
