Any particular reason to wait that long? I'd be even more paranoid than usual about getting pulled over.

I just didn't see the need for one at that time. I was never worried about getting pulled over.
I used to pull up on people in the 8th grade like ............

I got both at 30 years old. I didn't need a car honestly in Europe. It's more expensive to operate a vehicle and the public transport is excellent.

I got my first car before I had a license, maybe 20/21 and yes I was riding around without a license. I didn’t get my license until I got my second car and the dealer refused to sell me the car until I had a license for insurance purposes. So I was maybe 23-26. It was a long time ago.
