your argument was Spanish natives have darker or non cac feature because they're closer to the equator. 500 years is long enough for it to have an affect on a population.

There's darker Spaniards and lighter ones shrug.
There seemed to be class of "elite" that are more what you could consider "white" but it's not a constant. Social constructs there didn't put much stress on race if you're Spanish you're Spanish. There's different races in Spain and lots of immigrants as well.
Spanish features are very similar to Arab features. I'm sure there's science somewhere to support that.
I went to Madrid and saw ONE dark Spaniard. The other dark people were Africans.
