Even 200 years ago people might have taken that in a totally different way. But now with tv and the internet and live streaming it can mean something totally different

O precisely. Even in earth time, 1,000 is fairly recent events. Relative to the age of the earth.
I remember when y2k was a thing I legit thought homie was coming back. Had my young ass in church on nye instead of being home playing video games

Now with a smart phone you can listen to literally any pastor regardless where you are in the world.
Even this verse gets me. Wasn't even possible like 100 years ago. How would people from all over the world be able to see a dead body for three and a half day. Now with technology , tv, live streaming etc. it's totally possible.

Kinda random but there's parallels between the antichrist and Christ but 1 being that both die and are resurrected.

Now this is a pickle...as we could say that Trump and the whole anti-religion steez is here involving the antichrist doings. Yet, I always believe that its a method of do over. Like a constant loop of Genesis and Revelation until the Messiah decides enough is enough.
In this case, Trump being the "antichrist" seems logical but a reach as there is pushback even from his supporters. In this train of thought, Reagan could be considered the antichrist giving the same outcome (him going against an outdated president that didn't mesh well with the people). And even during Carters Administration, he was trying to bring righteous Christian ideologies in his policies, but on the level of it not beating the American people across the head with it, ala how Trump is doing.
I believe that each leader brings us close to the real deal, but for now that deal isn't the orange turd in the office, but someone more sinister and darker. This man I believe will bring lack of religion and allow a focus of "freedom", but in reality witchhunting and shutting off the true believers of Christ. Remember, only a few knew of the true intentions of the antichrist, while most will believe his life. Now, you can say this about Trump, but look at it as an Alpha version of the 1.0.
By that timeframe, we will be perished or on our way to glory, as the earth will fall suit to the new world order and thus try to reach the afterlife, leading to the final battle between good and evil.
Bottom line, this too shall pass. As we as people have freewill and it will never be too late to right such a wrong. But for now, God still chilling until the real date approaches, and no social media outlet will cover it, because we will not know of it happening, as it will happen right in front of our eyes.
