I write my debt off.

Got rid of a $17k private loan earlier this year.

I just have the government loan left which I defer and will be able get loan forgiveness eventual.

The rest is credit card debt which I'll just contest once my lender sales it. It will fukk up your credit for about a year but credit is easily repaired in 6 months especially when you only have a car loan.

Basically I don't pay my debt. lol

48K in student loans. I make 6 figures at the age of 28, so it was worth it :manny: As soon as my RSUs start vesting, I'll be able to pay it off all at once.

I know the average coli breh has 40k in savings , no debt and a credit score of 750 but for the rest of us avg coli brehs

I have over 10k but eradicating it fast.
The only debt I have is my credit card bill I pay off each month. That being said I don't have outstanding debt I can't pay (college loans)

Excluding student loans probably about 8500. I'm on pace to pay almost all of it off by the summer tho so:ehh:

I'll be happy when I can look at my credit score again and not cry:mjcry:

Is that what you got from that? I didn't get rid of 17K off of forgiveness but I guess what I said is probably foreign to you so that's the closest thing you can attribute it to. The only thing that will be forgiven is the government loan because it's mandated after a certain period of time.

I got rid of the 17k when my loan holder sold my loan to Navient. I went back and forth with Navient's lawyers for months telling them that they were not getting a dime off of me and that they could not sell the debt to anyone else. At the end of those months they removed the loan from my credit report never to be seen again.
