I bought my mom a suv a month ago. She has bread but she likes to drive cars until they cant function anymore, and i got tired of her benz being in the shop all the time. I had to force it on her, she dont like taking gifts from me. Not even gifts on holidays or her birthday. Only way she would take it was because i told her she can drive it for a few weeks and give it back if she doesnt want it. She hasnt given it back yet and i dont think she will

Me and her still on the same phone plan so I pay that, helped her pay her dillards card off and gift her money if she needs it (provided its not too much)

I don't know... We go out to dinner together a lot and I'll pick up the check every so often... It isn't about how much you spend... But how thoughtful the things you buy are... Like I had lemon tree planted in her back yard a couple years ago... Or grabbing her favorite wine before I come over for a visit... The little things...

probably about $3000 on my parents this year. Bought them a 60inch tv, computer, and various other stuff that I mailed to them that they don't even probably use.
I speak to them about 2 times a month by phone. I wouldn't be surprised if the sh't aint been opened yet.

Before I went to school for my second degree, I was giving her about 400 a month. Honestly, I can't wait to bless her with more gifts when I graduate this semester and get a full time job. She really is my backbone.
