640 GB - Music and Photos

External Drives:

1.5 TB - Movies
2 TB - Movies
2 TB - TV Shows
3 TB - Movies

Network Storage

WDTV Live Hub in the bedroom has 1 TB of storage for Movies

My Media PC has 2 bays left for hard drives, so i'll add 3 TB hards drives as needed. Hopefully the prices go down by the time I actually do. I've got so many externals cause I used to use my WDTV Live Hub for my media before building a media PC.

ive got an internal 66gb free of 149gb
and a 1tb which is like 700gb free

2 problems
1. i took nearly everything off my laptop so no idea why im missing nearly 80gb.
2. my external i broke the usb connector off the casing by accident. bought a new case, and it was telling me to format the drive. so i put the old one back on and taped the usb thing on very carefully. works sometimes, sometimes doesnt. gotta transfer everything onto a next pc when i get a minute.

Well, I guess it doesn't matter too much since your OS isn't on it, but in general I don't think you can defrag a HD if you don't have at last 10% of the space free. So your ish may be a little slower than necessary if you fill it up.

As cheap as hard drives are these days I'd just get another one. You could easily cop a 2TB internal and not have to worry about filling it up for a while.

Got like 3 TB drives on the fritz...a 1.5TB that started flashing a light and stopped showing up on USB. I got a 320GB from 2006 that still works but that is mostly 2007 and 2008 material. So it's time for some re-ups..i'll try Seagate this time since nyggas keep claiming it's legit. But I'm more obsessed with having shyt backed up than ever before. Just bought another burner from Tiger Direct last Friday. I just like 25GB free out of 472GB on my laptop though.

And I saw some Seagates that rely on USB and not plugs getting good reviews but there is no way in hell I'm playing that game.

I'm waiting on some Black Friday sales so I can eat... I grabbed two external 2TB drives a couple of months ago for about $70 each... I need about 4 more so I can get this server popping
