My brother be trying to do this shyt as well. He got 3 kids (ages from 2-6) and he be trying to take us to fine dinning spots. After doing that once that shyt was over. His kids started freaking out and crying, his wife had secondhand embarrassment and no one had a good time. Funny thing was he left me with the bill, that shyt was $500. I said next time we staying at the crib and I'll bring pizzas.

$70 sounds reasonable to me.

but there's so many variables to consider, treating everyone like their finances are the same, isn't an accurate view of the world, or people in our lives.

I had a mini memorial planned for a close friend, like way after he died, and it was like 5 people. I picked a spot. A girl friend called me, with her guy, next to her, and said...."uhhhh could we maybe like go somewhere.......a little cheaper.....not everyone is like you"

and I was like what? That spot is like $200 maxed out for everyone. I'll just pay for the whole thing.... and I started laughing and laughing. But i know that dude was heated lol

$70 for a plate is definitely expensive, but then you got to think if you go cheaper, what options do you have for a nice restaurant? Olive Garden, Texas Roadhouse, chili's, apple bee's, etc. Does the family want to eat at any of those?

Edit: Ya'll could hit up cheesecake factory or ruby tuesdays. Decent $30 meals.
