So. Cal
Amd left a sour taste in my mouth during their FX series days. I can never trust them again after switching to intel. They would have to destroy and surpass intel for me to go back. fukk that budget company :pacspit:

1500 - is the starting point anyone looking to game on a PC should expect to spend. On the cheaper side you can do it for 1000-1100 but those parts won't age well in 4 years.

This includes Computer + Monitor + Keyboard + Mouse

Bad Logic, intel has been releasing the same chip for years... :mjtf:

I have to delid my intel cpu's to not run the risk of frying my chip

No they aint

I own a 9900K. Ryzen at the moment is a much better buy. AMD's server segment is also superior. I'm not a fanboy for either brand I buy what's the best at the time of purchase. The FX chips were definitely complete trash though. After Conroe was released AMD has been playing catch up until this year.

Intel still has the best cpu for pure gaming

Amd is the better buy tho

After the security mitigation patches they're both head to head gaming wise. AMD has more cores, much less heat, and is more future proof. Both consoles will be using Ryzen chips so games will be designed on them. 9900K is still a formidable and amazing chip, but once you add in a $150 CPU cooler it's not worth it. This is coming from an 9900K owner. I won't be upgrading until DDR5 comes out for mainstream but the things are looking Intel will still be on 14nm for the desktop until 2021.

For Windows go on eBay and get a CD-key for a few bucks.
