last time, she broke up with me. i remember getting off the phone, going to wash my dishes and thinking "man, i really need to play destiny. is it really that dope?"

copped it, played a few hours, watched porn and went to bed. got up the next morning, deleted everything from her without a second thought and moved on with my life.

she hit me up a month later on IG on some creep shyt talm bout how she needs me in her life. I said "nah, not a good idea. take care of yourself." and blocked her ass.

this was after a year and a half long relationship. her family loved me, wanted me to marry her, she loved me, wanted to have kids. first signs of a problem and she wanted to break up. i didnt fight it cause if that's all it takes to break up, then we weren't meant to be.

you gotta look out for yourself. if they didnt see the value in you to stay together, they dont deserve you.

keep it pushing and distract yourself, do what you couldnt do when you were with them, live your life.

My first major breakups....felt warm, then all the sounds I heard seemed like a high-pass filter effect...then realize its over....

Then I realized you have to keep your emotions completely isolated from any women you deal with... That way they don't hurt "the real you"....

I'm using this drake face, but there was a 2-3 month point after one breakup where I'd feel my phone doing this.... phantom buzz in my pocket at times where I was used to her calling/texting, but she wasn't.




Last breakup felt great after I did it though, cause I did it and it needed doing......

when she showed up a week or so later, I felt like shyt for turning her away again.

I'm sure she felt like shyt when that other cat hit it and quit it before she came back.

That sounds like a similar situation and that’s my standpoint. It sounds stupid to blame this on her period but every month she has a real hard time seeing things clearly, she’ll get a mix between compulsive, irrational and eventually argumentative and belligerent over things that really don’t require arguments. I’ve been walking in egg shells for a week every month trying to dodge and sidestep arguments . . So then she’s blowing up trying to make this argument early in the morning and before I know it she’s talking about going back to her moms

I figured if someone is willing to give me an ultimatum they’ve already decided where I stand. It was one of those “either come inside or go, but don’t do this on the doorstep” situations.


All in all, this makes me want to leave California. I’ve been here for 7 years and I realize I’ve been alone a long time here. I got use to not being alone anymore. I think I’m just gonna go back to the east coast, find good pizza and schedule a session at my first recording studio, there’s a song I’ve been working on for 5 years
